Lion's Mane mushrooms are described as having the taste of lobster and crab, with the look of a lion's mane. Their dense body means that the mushroom remains succulent and meaty when cooked. This mushroom can be used to help promote a healthy lifestyle.
All of our mushrooms are grown on natural, wood-based substrates with no chemicals being used. We harvest our mushrooms at the optimum stage to ensure a long shelf life and the best possible taste.
We aim to have all our fresh mushrooms ready to dispatch whenever there is an order, but because it is a growing fungi sometimes dispatch may take longer. We will get in touch if this is the case.
Please Note: Fresh Lion's Mane is only available in Wrapped/Sealed boxes due to the nature of the product as Lion's Mane is prone to dehydration and sensitive to impacts in transport. Wrapped/Sealed boxes allow us to ensure that your Lion's Mane will arrive in a condition that meets our high standards.
Wrapped/Sealed BoxesOur wrapped/sealed fresh mushroom boxes are certified by KLBD as being cultivated and packed in an insect free environment. This process includes rigorous insect checks which means that we are able to guarantee that there will be no insects present in your mushrooms. If not cooked immediately, remove the wrapping and place the mushrooms in the fridge, following the use by date on the label.
Preparation InstructionsWash before use. Remove all packaging. These mushrooms work best when fried in a pan, allowing their high water content to leave the mushroom, leaving just enough for a succulent taste, although they can also be used in burgers and pastas. We highly recommend to try sautéing these mushrooms in a pan with some salt and oil to distinguish their true taste.
Storage Information
Keep refrigerated. Check use by date on label. We recommend consumption as soon as possible for the best taste.
